CAM Elects Three New Board Members

The three newly elected Board Members are: Michael J. "Jim" Brennan, vice president of Broadcast Design & Construction, Inc., Mt. Clemens; Frank G. Nehr, Jr., executive vice president of Davis Iron Works, Inc., Walled Lake; and Donald J. Purdie, Jr., vice president of Detroit Elevator Company in Ferndale. The 2009 CAM Chairman of the Board is Bob Michielutti, Jr., president and owner of Michielutti Brothers, Inc., Eastpointe.

The three new Board Members replace three retiring Board Members who have served for the past four years. Retiring are: Ted McGinley of Gutherie Lumber Company, Livonia; Rick Cianek of Fraco Products of Michigan, Ortonville; and the 2008 Chairman of the Board Jeffrey Cohee of Frank Rewold & Son Construction, Inc., Rochester.

Over 250 CAM Members attended the 2009 CAM Annual Meeting, held in February at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi.   The featured guest speaker was John Austin, executive director of the New Economy Initiative for Southeast Michigan (NEI) - a multi-year, multi-million dollar effort on the part of Michigan and national foundations to support the transformation of the southeast Michigan economy.
