CAM publishes two daily editions of Construction Project News providing members with
up-to-the-minute information on work that is currently available for bidding
throughout the state. CAM's full-time reporting team annually tracks over
8,500 projects from the design stage to contract award. Construction Project News
may also be delivered via internet.
The two editions include the Greater Detroit Edition and the West, North and
Central Michigan Edition.
CAM news reports, made available on a subscription basis, are designed to help the
member efficiently track work that meets requirements for their product or service.
The Construction Pre-View report, issued weekly, provides statewide coverage of
construction projects in the early planning stages. Construction Pre-View informs
subscribers on exactly how and when projects will bid.
CAM offers the largest selection of bid documents in the state of Michigan.
Drafting tables, private telephone rooms, and a lounge add to convenience and
comfort for the plan room user. Plan duplication and facsimile services are also
available to members. Michigan Construction Lien Act forms may be purchased there as well.
The CAM-Online Planroom now offers cutting edge technology that allows the subscriber to receive e-mail notifications of all updates on projects they are tracking,
an easy to use calendar that notifies the subscriber of both, due dates and pre-bid meeting dates. Push button mapping to locate pre-bid meeting and bid delivery
addresses, without leaving the website. Subscribers also have the ability to add themselves as bidders on projects, issue invitations to their suppliers, order plan
copies (coming soon) and perform take-offs while on-line.
