Jason Griffin - Construction Association of Michigan
This course is recommended for employees with a responsibility for site safety. It covers OSHA policies, procedures and standards, as well as construction safety and health principles. Topics include the scope and application of the OSHA construction standards including inspections, citations and appeals, as well as employee & employer rights under the Act. Additional topics include Pre-Task Planning, Focus-Four Hazards, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and construction specific health issues, among others. Upon completion of the course, students receive an OSHA construction safety and health 30-Hour course completion card. (Class meets 4 times)
